1) NAME: Boiler automation using PLC.

2) DESCRIPTION: In Boiler Automation we controlled Automatically various parameters Temperature, Level by using PT100 & Float Level (reed switch magnetic type) switch respectively. Also measured pressure by using pressure gauge and controlled by using timer which specified in PLC. Water inlet valve is controlled by solenoid valves (24V DC) and steam (high pressurized up to 7-10 psi) outlet valve is controlled by solenoid valve (12V DC). Interface with ALLEN BRADLEY PLC with 32 I/O ports and programming using ladder diagram executed by RXlogix500.

3) APPLICATION: Since boiler has principle to generate high pressurized steam to use various applications like rotates the turbine blades to give mechanical energy to generators.(mostly in thermal power plant)
