• Draft and initiate quality integrity processes and procedures per WQI FOD Project Management System, created a sustainable Quality Assurance System (QAS) for optimum operations and productivity, increasing production (200K bpd to 400K bpd).
• Develop/Update as needed a fit-for-purpose Operations Management System (OMS), implement Quality Plan/Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) per each scope of work to be utilized for compliance validation, and present customized quality module(s) in all WQI FOD workshops on project quality management for respective projects.
• Implement ITPs for: fabricating/installing and testing flowlines, equipment procurement, construction, fabrication shop welding, and field joint coatings of projects/activities for all contractors/subcontractors.
• Initiate formal welders’ training program to be included in contracts for all new contractors, validate qualifications of new welders as part of the bid process. This was implemented as part of the continuous improvement process.
• Distribute $30M request for quote (RFQ) to several contractors implementing overall training program with qualified Arabic-speaking training personnel, participate in technical/commercial bid evaluations.
