WORKING EXPERIENCE

Currently I am a Lecturer & Safety Officer for AIMST University, which involves lecturing the undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervising their research projects and managing safety related matters in the campus.

I was awarded RM 142,400.00 research grant to conduct a research entitled ‘Role of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)-mediated misfolding and loss of Nuclear Receptor Co-Repressor (N-CoR) in the pathogenesis of Cervical Cancer’ by the Ministry of Education Malaysia under the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme.

I am also a co-investigator in 2 other projects, entitled, “Identification and characterization of anti-N-CoR (nuclear receptor co-repressor) proteases and defining their role in the pathogenesis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML-M5) subtype” and “Role of Protein Misfolding Pathway in the Pathogenesis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) Caused by Hepatitis Virus B(HVB) Infection”.

I have experience as a Postgraduate Officer in managing and setting up the Centre for Postgraduate Studies in AIMST University, the work involves managing postgraduate students, conducting viva-voce examination and documentation.

I have worked as a Research and Development Officer in AIMST University, the work involves in managing and coordinating the scientific research projects carried out by the university, collaborations and also in handling the research grants available internally and also externally.
