1.CARE Ambassador (03/2015 - 03/2016) PRN position at Hartsfield International Airport Quarantine Station implementing mandatory Federal/CDC Program to contain the Ebola Virus. Provided Ebola Virus education and prevention instructions with all passengers arriving in the United States from Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. Referred and linked all passengers to State Health Departments for monitoring, 21 days or less, depending on the most recent risk factors and CDC guidelines. Contract ended in March 2016.

2.Mental Health Professional (08/2015 - 07/2016) Located at CDC Atlanta and Chamblee Campuses. Confidentially assessed resiliency of CDC staff prior to deploying to Ebola Virus affected countries, and Zika Virus affected locations and countries. Monitored pre-deployment, post-deployment, and 90-day post-deployment responses and scores using self-report assessments; CD-RISC, PC-PTSD Scale, and the K10. Conducted conversations with staff, by phone and/or face-to-face meetings to determine level of risk. Recommended or referred staff to EAP services and/or CDC Wellness services as needed. Staff exhibiting very high risk factors was referred for immediate mental health assessment. In rare instances, team recommended deployment delay or early return.
