Southeastern Site Prep is a medium sized commercial site development
company which performs land clearing, earthwork, road building, concrete
structure and curbing installation, asphalt road and parking lot
construction for small to large scale commercial accounts as well as local
and state municipalities. Responsible for overall company management,
equipment selection and maintenance, job scheduling, and account billing.
General Manager, Environmental Design Consultants, Inc. 1998 - 2000
Responsible for 23 person civil and mining engineering office overseeing
design engineers, survey crews, and Autocad technicians. Environmental
Design Consultants was a medium sized civil and mining engineering
consulting firm which performed survey layout, site civil design for
commercial and municipal projects throughout central and eastern Kentucky.
Firm also performed environmental permitting for surface and underground
mining operations.
General Manager of Operations, MC Mining, Inc. (Mapco Coal). 1996 - 1998
Responsible for 1,000,000 TDY shaft slope underground coal mining complex,
500,000 TD mountaintop removal operations, 852 TPH coal preparation
facilities and a CSX 4 hour rail loadout. Directed 120-person work force,
contractors, engineering, trucking, and coal marketing.
Manager Permitting, Mapco Coal Inc. 1994 - 1996
Responsible for overall engineering, permitting, and environmental
compliance for underground and surface operations in Kentucky, Indiana,
Illinois, Virginia, and Maryland.
Chief Engineer, Locust Grove Coal Company. 1992 - 1994
Responsible for company engineering and design of roads, sediment basins,
and production reporting for 750,000 TPY surface coal mining operation.
Lead Mine Engineer, Cutler Mining Company (Arch Mineral). 1990 - 1992
Responsible for company engineering, surveying, budgeting, equipment
maintenance and production reporting for 1,200,000 TPY underground coal
mining operation.
