Structured a very large collection of wiki pages developed by the Yahoo MediaSuite group to implement tools and processes for internal and external website content. I created multitab landing pages for the subgroups within MediaSuite to explain overall organization, purpose, and content, as well as additional tabbed pages for deeper topic information.

As the only writer in this group, I worked directly with developers. I defined the necessary targets in Ant scripts that run javadoc via Eclipse. I read/wrote directly on Java source files via Perforce. I reported API design issues to the lead engineer and filed bug reports. Topics included digital signatures, permissions, embedded files, and annotations.

I frequently wrote short pieces of C++ code or used the shipping samples to test IDE features.

Wrote initial documentation set for TIBCO Rendezvous TX, a distributed application that provides transactional messaging. Much of the documentation consisted of conceptual explanations of message routing to and from client and server, message queuing, and how the server manages transactions.
Maintained and revised the TIBCO Adapter SDK. This documents TIBCO’s core technology and it includes PDF, online and print versions of Concepts, Installation Guide, Programmer’s Guide, and Release Notes. I wrote online Java and C++ API documentation for SDK. I used Doc-o-matic for C++ documentation and javadoc to write HTML directly in the Java source files which were held under version control.
Maintained documentation for TIBCO Runtime Agent, an application that provides integration, including installation and development environment control, for several discrete, complex TIBCO products.

I managed the Programmer’s Guide for NonStop Distributed Object Manager/MP. This product provides an infrastructure for distributed object computing on Tandem platforms. NonStop DOM was a CORBA 2.1 compliant system. I wrote on client/server applications. I worked closely with the chief engineer to define and construct fully compilable examples for the Portable Object Adapter (POA).
