Duke Energy/Rogers Energy Center – Sept. 2015 To Present

In addition to my assign duties and responsibilities, at the Rogers Energy Complex (Cliffside) and River Bend Steam Station, as one of the CCP Environmental Professionals, I routinely provide responsive and consistent operational support to the onsite CCP Construction Team to include:

Operations support for both the HV, CAMA and CCR Groundwater Assessment Program field construction efforts including tree site clearing & grading, access road, tree removal, drilling activities, and site restoration. Additional support also included project administrative support in the form of maintaining and participating in “as –built” drawings updates and management.

Ancillary support to CCP EH&S onsite efforts. Conduct Safety/Site Specific Orientation for new and renewal Orientation for General Contractors. Incidental spills and equipment leak response and onsite management for both the steam station site and the permitted landfill operations site. Performs daily field surveillance and observations to identify unsafe conditions, issues and actions.

Conduct Equipment and vehicle inspections before any work is performed.

Conduct chemical inventory and Safety Data Sheet inspection for all Contractors.

Assist Contractor and Duke Well and River samplers with Safety Oversight.

Prepare and collect Ash samples to be shipped to Lab.

Conduct Erosion Sediment Control Inspections weekly or after a half inch of rain.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent-Operator Responsible Charge

Plan, organize and direct daily operations of the Wastewater Plant

Conduct Plant Inspections of the Facility through observation and Lab analysis

Insure preventive maintenance of all equipment and prepare quotes for Directors approval
