Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to submit my application for a full time position of an adult nurse practitioner at your facility. This is based on my educational achievement, my nursing background along with my work experience at Geriatrics Internal Medicine Specialists (GIMS). The insight and knowledge I obtained from the nurse practitioner during my clinical rotation and my APRN experience with GIMS has widened my scope and knowledge caring for the patients. I don’t have any mental health experience but if given a chance I am willing to learn to perform any procedures that are required.

I have 1 year experience working as an adult gerontological APRN with GIMS in various nursing facilities and I have also provided, my clinical experiences that encompasses in the adult group setting from long term care to hospital settings and completed a total of 576 clinical hours. This allowed me to see patients from common and complex heath care problems throughout the aging process. I have completed a 64 hours advanced clinical subspecialty setting in the University of Kansas Hospital cardiology department. As an advanced practiced registered nurse, my coworkers and nurses I work with in various facilities recognized me as a vital team member and are impressed with my thinking skills and analysis in patient management.

My leadership experiences ranges from a preceptor to other RN’s, Nursing Techs, and students in the organization as a RN and as an APRN, I teach RN and LPNs why certain lab values or medications are vital to help in patient management. Outside the nursing environment, my experience as Vice President for the Malaysian Association of KC enhances my leadership skills to work collaboratively with others and to respect each other.
