Get off on the right foot Initiated and completed successfully numerous projects to deliver Hydraulic
cylinders on time, below cost targets and improved quality to internal customers.
Identified and led resourcing of large cylinders in phases from Sumter, SC to another internal manufacturing
facility in China, resulting a cost reduction of $1.2 million per year.
Mentored junior off shore staff to bring them up to speed on various sourcing and manufacturing activities and
provide feedback to their managers.
Collaborate with accounting, purchasing and supply chain team to evaluate landed material cost quotations
keeping in mind of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concept for cylinder and components.
Assumed responsibilities as a go-to engineer in the development of Casting and Forging should cost models in
aPriori which benefited the company upfront to optimize cost before production release.
Managed manufacturing activities to implement validation plan, review control plan, work break down
structure, guide supply chain personal, inventory Optimization, and ensured that the team is 100% ready at

Managed consultants and direct report as a global team lead to integrate the next generation of Telematics on
all current production and new product introduction (NPI) machines, successfully commonized the hard ware
and electrical components across the multi generation of cabs.
Led the design and development of operator station and Rollover protection structure (ROPS) for Wheel
loaders, Motor graders, Scrappers and other machines from inception to production to provide cabs for Tier
Four Final compliant machines.
Initiated the concept design and development of split Rollover protection structure for Motor grader in a tight
schedule for US army, Navy, and Marine Core. Resulting to acquire multi-million-dollar contract from US
army and deliver cabs for production machines on time as per customer requirement.
Concurrent product development with the modeling team. Ensured the analysis conducted by the team was
accurate and the results were summarized for final decision- making.
Managed consultant, process partners, ROPS manufacturers and Cab manufacturing facilities on various
Operator station design and procurement projects. Resolved build issues and ensured that the design is
optimized for cost, quality and on time delivery.
