Inc. Sychar is a home health contracting company working in the Houston area. Sychar is

The CPAS group is testing parachute systems for our next space launch vehicle or capsule. The

group administers 1 to 2 parachute drop test in Yuma AZ each month. Each drop test is designed

to deliver NASA drop test documentation and test data to provide a functional parachute system

for future assent/entry space vehicles at NASA.

The drop test video system was designed using ProE models in Lightwave 3D. The 3D renderings

and animation provided a foundation to research a low-cost off the shelf video system. A 3D

Animation & video lab was built to support the post drop test videos edits and 3D animation

Contract Software Engineer for Military with Clearance - Duties included software integration and

testing for FORCE XXI military at Fort Hood Texas. Software integration crosses multiple

hardware platforms: Sun Ultra 2/10, SGI and Windows NT. System administration requirements

include Solaris O.S. setup, network configuration and user administration. Software applications

are integrated and tested intensely in the following areas: human factors, process stability, and

communication-thread connectivity. Engineering tools are developed on NT with Visual Basic

The Mobil Automated Instrumentation Suite (MAIS) is a military real-time test system used by

Texcom to test new and modified weapons systems. MAIS operates with laser based RTCA using

include system administration on HP clustered workstations, development and modification of

MAIS source code for the Control and Communications Center. Source code for MAIS software

Software Engineer - Responsibilities include Engineering analyses for Flight Engineering

Robotics Branch (ER3), using MAGIK, TRICK, C, FORTRAN, and UNIX tools to verify

kinematics and dynamic properties for berthing interfaces used during NASA Space Station

construction. As a member of the Station Assembly Analysis for Berthing (SAAB) Team, TRICK

and MAGIK were used to formulate deberthing analysis for the common berthing mechanism

(CBM) for redesign discussions. The CBM models (written in Fortran) were integrated into

TRICK (written in C) for kinematics and dynamic analysis. Client-Server communications and

collect mechanisms were incorporated into the software integration. Engineering tools developed

in Visual Basic, Fortran and Lisp. As a member of Flight 3A analysis team, testing and crew

training were implemented for on-orbit payload (PMA3) berthing. Systems Engineering

Simulator (SES) was used during pre-analyses and testing for visibility and feasibility of payload

maneuvering and birthing.
