June 2003 ? Present: Tripler Army Medical Center, Radiology Department

Work full time in mammography providing direct patient care. Assist physician with procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, needled localizations, and patient preparations.

Experienced in maintaining MQSA standards of mammography, infection control, and quality care of patients.

July 2001 ? May 2003 Queens Medical Center

Imaging Manager for MRI and CT Scan.

Managed the operations of MRI and CT modalities for over 200 bed acute care/trauma center facility. Directed day to day operations, planned for future projects, and provided staff/customer support. Responsible for staffing, evaluations, budget, state and federal inspections, and monitoring of productivity. Duties included responsibility for staff payroll, quality assurance, quality control, correct coding and billing.

July 1995 ? June 2001 Kuakini Medical Center

Director of Imaging

Supervised and directed the overall operation of the imaging/radiology department for 150 acute care facility. Completely renovated the radiology department and replaced all antiquated equipment with new, state of the art equipment. Developed operational and capital expense budget annually. Implemented a cross training program for staff development, analyzed and controlled inventories, personnel and productivity of the entire department. Participated as co-chair for numerous committees such as Safety and Risk Management, employee recognition, doctor and volunteer appreciation luncheons. Maintained standards and guidelines in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Developed and maintained department chargemaster, ensured correct coding and billing for procedures, as well as implementing new services with the department.
