MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Served as President for first publicly traded company to develop ambulatory health services. Concept of
services became the most successful in reducing the cost of surgery, improving time management and revenue
for the surgeon and ease of surgery for the patient while ensuring large return to the investors.
Opened 35 facilities with accountability for conception through management of operations.
Developed software program allowing coordination of healthcare from primary providers. Provided ability to
monitor several thousand Medicaid recipients and maintain constant communication between providers.
Initiated a Disease Management Program that improved outcomes for the patient, provided cost savings of
$2.5M to the Medicaid Agencies, saved time for the providers which equated to thousands of dollars in savings,
and allowed Medicaid agencies to determine the best and most appropriate clinical pathways.
Negotiated the first national surgery center contract with Blue Cross / Blue Shield for pay ment reimbursement.
Served as a lobbyist in the State of Missouri and successfully wrote and lobbied a bill through the State Senate
and House of Representatives to amend the insurance law to allow reimbursement to Ambulatory Surgery
Centers in the State of Missouri, saving millions of dollars to third party carriers and to the patients.
