Human Resource Generalist – Assistant Vice President – Legal Group 1997-2002
Provided Human Resource expertise to JPMCs Legal Group for a global staff of more than 1,000.
Compensation – Managed full year compensation planning process for a global business. Coached and counseled managers as well as General Counsel on the equitable administration of the total compensation plan across newly merged organizations. Conducted compensation comparability surveys, job matching and benchmarking of jobs.
Staffing – Worked with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences on all legal jobs. Handled the recruiting process for attorney hires from beginning to hire. This included consultation with external legal recruiters from the placement of job description, consulting with attorney managers to determine the best candidates and consulting with managers regarding the compensation offers. This resulted in high quality diverse talent.
Employee Relations – Served as primary contact for employees and managers on issues relating to employee relations. This included policy interpretation, conflict resolution and restructuring. Served as objective third party for employee issues. Advised and counseled managers on FLSA, FMLA, ADA as well as sensitive issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination, etc.

Administered the various compensation programs for diverse client - Corporate Staff Group. These businesses included Financial Management, Administrative Services, Legal and Credit/ Risk Management.
Designed and managed the compensation planning program. Created user friendly planning documents for the quarterly and annual planning process. Designed budget expenditure reports to apprised management to facilitate staying within budget.
