Managed a remote sales team, using Sales Force (SFDC) with on-line research and analysis, to provide them with critical homeowners association and property management contact data and community composition details. This information enabled sales to complete the right of entry and installation agreements & validate important subdivision information for our construction and engineering teams.

Completed escalated right of entry agreements by attending monthly HOA board meetings to answer Board of Directors questions and providing critical feedback to association manager regarding residents’ concerns on construction and liability. San Antonio team successfully averaged one signed agreement per week with a 67.5 percent close rate.

Worked with the City of San Antonio and other Bexar County enclave cities to insure fiber-optic construction and installation milestones were met or exceeded. In addition, collaborated with city governments on real-time construction action items that were quickly brought to resolution.

Verizon/MCI, San Antonio, TX 2001 - 2015

Business Systems Analyst

Led user acceptance testing of multiple application software releases to ensure a smooth customer transition to our new quoting, ordering, provisioning, installation, and billing platform, i.e. Verizon Rapid Delivery. Facilitated multi-disciplinary, end-user test execution while working with Information Technology (IT) Development and System Test Teams; was recognized by being an advocate for those users who directly served the customer. Within two years, 74% of all orders were being executed on the new platform while reducing service intervals by 58%.

Created Verizon Learn on-line training module on Hewlett Packard’s Application Lifecycle Management - Quality Center (HP ALM-QC) for application users/testers, IT development, and IT systems test. Over 70 employees completed the course and the course received a 4.2 stars average rating on a five level Likert Scale.

Supported bi-monthly release testing by creating test case scenarios with the end- users based on the business requirements. Upon sponsor and end-user approval, uploaded the test cases with the required test data in the HP QC-ALM test plan, Once the test execution schedule was built, transferred the test cases into the test lab to insure accurate assignment and resolution of code related defects.

Wrote business requirements with IT developers to automate on-line feeds from critical upstream sales systems to include commissions, revenue accounting, and human resources into our enterprise order entry systems.

Collaborated with end user testers, product marketing, and IT professionals to successfully lead business community through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). Medical Service Corps Officer Lieutenant Colonel

Facilitated the initial implementation of the 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) at the 59th Medical Wing at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Insured our military members and their dependents were advised of their Protected Health Information, under the Notice of Privacy Practices, when visiting medical facilities.

Wrote ground-breaking dissertation entitled “Implementing HIPAA in the United States Air Force Medical Service” during Health Services Administration certification studies.

As troop commander, led 50 member Wild Boar Aeromedical Evacuation Deployment Team. Supported the U.S Army and Marine Corps by providing air evacuation support to stabilized patients and transporting them to hardened healthcare facilities.
