JOB DESCRIPTION

Doing the regular analysis of finished products from Refinery tank farm, Rail & Road tank form and Marine tank form for Full test samples.

Ø JOB RESPOSIBILITY (Steady state):-

ØWorking as a Laboratory Technician responsible for the functioning of Central-Laboratory

In Routine Refinery Process & Finished Product samples Receipt, Segregation, Analysis,

Reporting, Updating in LIMS, and also analyze different Kinds of Miscellaneous Samples

ØAnalysis of Raw material like Crude oil, Refinery process control analysis for all Units like

CDU/VDU, Cocker, Merox units, Hydrotreaters, Alkylation, Aromatics & Various Samples.

Finish Product will come from tank farm like RTF, RRTF, and MTF.

Refinery Finished Product Analysis

Different Types of Naphtha’s, (PCN, FRN), Gasoline, HSD (High Speed Diesel),

Alkylate Product, Coke sample & etc.

Ø REFINERY PRODUCTS:-

Naphtha, Gasoline, HSD, Alkylate products and different type of middle distillate from product tank farm are being analyzed for Density, Total Sulphur, Flash pt, and Cloud pt; Pour pt, CFPP, Rvp, Bromine number & Bromine-index, R-sh, Tan, in routine shifts. After the certification; samples are properly preserved for carry out analysis in the future, if any dispute arises.

CRUDE OIL

Density, Total Sulphur, BS & W, Pour-Point, TAN etc. the various crude obtained from the different countries.

GASOLINE ( EIV,EI)

The analysis pertaining to the gasoline tank samples like Density, RVP Distillation, RSH, (Aromatic & olefins by) FIA, etc.

HIGH SPEED DIESEL( EIV,EI) :

Density, Flash point, Distillation, TS, Cloud Point, Pour point, CFPP, HFRR & other results are entered in Lims and approved for tank form samples.

NAPHTHA: [ PCN/FRN]

Regular analysis like RVP, Density, Bromine number & Bromine-index.

ALKYLATE:

Alkylate products from Alkylation Unit, Refinery tank farm, Marine tank farm for Full test samples. Alkylate products are being analyzed for Density, Rvp, Distillation etc.

Crude oil (Light & Heavy) From Varies Region. Coke Regular analysis like Moisture, Hgi,

LIMS (Laboratory information management system) & SAP Activities:-

After the completion of analysis all the results of process intermediates as well as finished products samples are being feed in to LIMS (Laboratory information & Management system ). Regularly go thru with LIMS and overview the status of logged in as well as online samples. Updating the results of online samples after verification. Preparing quality certificates & Test reports from the data’s available in LIMS. Fax the Quality certificates
