I am an energetic, hardworking and self motivated HSE Off shore medic and Registered General Nurse with a comprehensive professional background and a keen interest in pursuing a varied career. I enjoy team working and am involved in a wide range of extracurricular activities.

I have been working in offshore and remote environments since December 2011 with a previous 8 years experience in a variety of clinical environments including hospital emergency departments, community/primary care settings, remote clinics, the police force, the military and with high profile private clients. My medical and administrative skills have been developed, adapted and expanded to each different environment that I have worked in and demonstrate my flexibility as a medic and nurse.

I am computer literate, with experience of Microsoft operating systems and Office products including the development of applications to carry out various administrative tasks.

I have been involved with campaigns to promote good health within the workforce for the police and military to maintain optimum health and working efficiency of its staff.

I am capable of working both as an individual or part of a team, as dictated by the task, or tasks at hand, to deadlines and producing work to a high standard for reports and presentations. I can demonstrate good communication skills in person or written form and am experienced in dealing with personnel from all areas of the workforce and management structure with an approachable, honest and loyal attitude.

I am currently employed on a locum basis at the Diving Diseases Research Centre (DDRC) in Plymouth, UK, as a registered nurse. Alongside this, I have recently returned to offshore medic roles on vessels in the North Sea.

This role was part of the Arctic surveying project onboard a supply vessel carrying passengers and supplies from Kirkenes, Norway to the Kara Sea in Russia. The vessel was also to be used for transporting patients back to the beach as required which was usually a 5 day transit from the survey location. Maximum crew 35, various nationalities. This role was as team medic for Secret Compass on their expedition to the Wakhan Corridor in Afghanistan. My role was to ensure the health and well being of the entire team, which comprises 16 Canadian clients, 4 British guides and 12 local Afghan guides and porters, in the remote north east region of the country. The Expedition began by road in Tajikistan before crossing to Afghanistan where the majority of the route was completed on foot or by horseback.
