Crown Equipment (For Thinkpath Engineering Services) 2013
Mechanical Designer
Partnered with Crown engineers to complete final designs and release of their latest commercial lift vehicle. Using NX7.5 I designed and detailed lighting brackets-guards, dash board components.
Workhorse Custom Chassis, Union City, Indiana – A Navistar Company 1999 - 2012
Mechanical Designer
Designed and Detailed components for gas and diesel step van and motor home chassis utilizing UG NX 7.5. Created detailed drawing and layouts with selections and illustrations in Teamcenter 8.3 PLM software. Attended design reviews and worked to insure engineering launch dates were met. Supported current products by completing ECO’S in a timely manner. Contributed to prototype build and manufacturing by investigating fit issues. Produced body builder drawings which were distributed to various body builders.
Contributed to the creation of a common chassis between Workhorse Custom Chassis and Navistar:
oUsed existing Navistar parts were possible which resulted in cost reduction.
oFully intergraded chassis into Navistar’s Teamcenter and Spectrum databases.
Involved in new chassis designs including low floor bus and rear diesel pusher
oFilled gaps in market and gave customers additional options.
Fully detailed frame rails that encompassed all wheel bases and all options.
Allowed longest lead time items to be delivered to vendor on time.
Worked overtime and weekends to expedite engineering deliverables.
Involved in startup of Cad Department creating drawing standards and procedures.

Product Designer partnered with General Motors Engineers to produce a new generation of automotive products utilizing Unigraphics. Required knowledge of G.D.&T., ISO 9000 Quality System and GM drafting standards.
