staffs from ground up. Have built financial staffs in major corporations,

including Time, Inc. and Citigroup. Consolidated financial processing onto

common software and platform for Time, Inc. Corporation, moving Financial

IT support from New York to Tampa. Relocated System support staff for A/P,

Purchasing, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Expense Management from New

York to Tampa for Citigroup. These relocations reduced combined operating

expenses for Time, Inc. and Citigroup by more than 20 million dollars.

Project & Role Description:

Served as Project Manager for major conversion project. Lead strategy

formation for Real Time Account Maintenance (RTAM) project focused on

migration from legacy IMS to DB2. The goal of the project was to modernize

the operational infrastructure and reduce cost of ownership.

Lead conversion effort that required planning around short timeframe. The

operation was 24/7 with an 8 hour conversion green zone. Planning involved

converting an excessive amount of data to the DB2 format. Some IMS data

presented challenge as it was in sequential format instead of hieratical

format. The conversion required setting up standard conversion tools and

staffing resources with required Ab Initio skills. As project manager

formatted recommendation to migrate achieved data ahead of actual real-time

data to minimize load/impact on conversion day. Produced plan to solve IMS

sequential data problem, produced plan to build proper IMS to DB2

associations. Highlighted gap conversion tools and skills required:

brought on Ab Initio resources. Delivered integrated conversion strategy

and plan which enabled the project team to follow a structured and seamless

approach to convert a key operational tool in a very short conversion

window.

corporate Shared Service Unit structure, with a 40 million dollar budget.

Have assembled and built this organization from the ground up. Unit was

responsible for Retail Banking, CitiMortgage, Citibank, FSB, and Cards

divisions. The group was responsible for support and processing of over

70% of all General Ledger transactions. My organization managed the daily

bank close, provides month-end regulatory reporting, supported Bank

reconciliations, provided back-end support for billing systems, generated

MIS reporting, and supported Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Fixed Assets

Applications.

Supported Financial Applications across diverse platforms including,

Server, Mid-Range and Mainframe environments. Supported Peoplesoft, Oracle,

Infor (Geac) and custom software applications.

Responsible for implementation of Billing and Financial Reporting

applications. Upgraded Infor mainframe General Ledger, Purchasing, Fixed

Assets and Accounts Payable applications. Installed and upgraded Peoplesoft

Relocated staff of 22 Financial IT support individuals from New York to

Tampa. This contributed in a $14 million reduction in operating expenses.

Responsible for build of Consumer front-end Web Process that allows more

3 states. Headed development of Deferred Tax System. Played key role in

formation of Middle South's Software Marketing Division, Electec, which

sold PAMS software. Through the efforts of Electec, the Pams initial 10

million dollar investment was recouped within 2 years.

Developed complex reunitization process which allowed Middle South

Utilities to annually capitalize 5.5 million dollars in additional charges

associated with facility construction.

Responsible for implementation of Tax and Deferred Tax applications.

Transitioned corporation to employ reusable object oriented programming

modules for applications development slashing time-to-delivery by 50%.

Established training procedures for key utility operating stakeholders.

Held training sessions at multiple operating divisions.
