Responsibility Summary: Implemented High Availability 10g production Database on Win2000 MCS Compaq Sever which has 8 x1 GHz CPU and 4Ggb of RAM. Used 10g Automatic Memory Management (AMM) for RAM utilization. In order to improve multiple CPU utilization tuned Parallel Query processing. Also added additional db_writers. Worked with Developers on variety PL/SQL issues: Ref Cursor types, Bulk Collect, FORALL loops. Implemented full database export using 10g Datapump Utility. Did also development work: coded ETL Pl/SQL packages for Family, Worker, Provider and Case Tables. Information was coming into the Staging area completely identical to ADABASE files. ETL packages remap those structures into New Facts database using Code Tables and Metadata dictionary. PL/SQL packages were developed using an Object Oriented approach by means of user types and public and private methods.

Responsibility Summary: Oracle 7.3.3 to Oracle 9i Migration project. Developed strategy for conversion host Unix Oracle apps into Windows 2000 environment, including Oracle Forms 6i, COBOL programs and EOD and EOM K-shell scripts, Data Base Backups using RMAN and Veritas Net Backup, mapping multi-instance structure into one Instance multi-schema structure. Did Security Procedures evaluation and Risk Assessment for a new environment, which was documented in “Technology Plan”. The plan had been sign off by management before implementation. Developed Virtual Private Database in Oracle 9i using Context objects and PL/SQL packages, database triggers and store procedures. Estimated a capacity and a projected growth of the Oracle 9i migrated database, including tablespace sizing, file system sizing, SGA sizing. Tuned 9i instance with Quest Oracle Spotlight, TOAD 7.2 and Sql Navigator 4.1. Using JDeveloper 3.2.2 and Java Server Pages build Booking System Browser for the Leasing application.
