Supervisor
Oversee daily activities of employees, assign staff; set standards for the quality and quantity of work produced; provide written instructions for normal operations and written or oral instructions for special assignments. Inspect work after completion for quality control. Investigate customer complaints and take corrective action to avoid repetition and resolve problem; involved in production planning such as determining staffing levels and the development of standards and specifications. Regularly evaluate and confirm staffing, equipment as needed.
Provide health and safety training, guidance on safe work practices, provides proper equipment, observe work practices and correct methods, and investigate accidents. Work along with production staff in a safe and responsible manner while not putting self or others at risk. This included complying with applicable CAL OSHA policies and regulations; using personal safety gear; observing warning signs; learning about potential hazards; and reporting unsafe conditions.
Lead Custodial
Lead an increased housekeeping staff and coordinates all housekeeping services for different levels of service for various conferences accommodated in the unit. Help coordinate personnel to maximize work time and minimize overtime. Oversee the work product of the linen crew and reconcile linen inventories for accuracy and communicate needs and shortages to Supervisor.
Oversee, train, and assign work to the custodial staff and inspect the cleaning of student rooms (making beds, turning mattresses, linen change, and furniture moving) set up meeting rooms for summer conferences and work closely with custodial staff to ensure that standards are met including assist with work duties and responsibilities.

Custodial
Empty trash and recycling in all areas, utilizing micro mopping system sweep and mop floors, maintain storage areas in garbage room. Utilizing chemical command bathrooms; remove and dump trash from main lounges; arrange furniture; sweep and clean around buildings; remove and dump trash container in front of computer lab; deliver supplies; fill in for senior custodian if one is absent; use all safety equipment when working. Perform the inventory, storing and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment for custodians and buildings. Receive supplies and equipment and verify usage to minimize waste.
