Gained an understanding of global issues and developments in the field of engineering
Learned to adapt quickly to rapidly changing situations and environments Project Experience
Graphic Communications
The project was to dismantle a fishing reel and model all of the components to create a three-dimensional exploded view of the reel, and then develop a presentation to advertise it using the completed model.
Utilized NX 9 to model each component with utmost accuracy
Presented the finished design using captivating imagery to demonstrate the reel’s superior features Mechanical Design II
The project involved creating a gripping mechanism that was meant to lift, rotate, and transport two pucks of varying weights over an eight inch wall and into small slots that left little room for error.
Met with the group at least three times a week to discuss design concepts and devise crucial parameters
Developed a simple three-dimensional model of the final design using NX 10 so as to perform a finite element analysis of the mechanism
Gained valuable experience working with a group on a project that involved constantly emerging dilemmas CAD Tools
The project involved developing a three-dimensional model of a toy excavator, to scale, that was capable of producing the four main motions of a real excavator, as well as one other motion of our choice.
Researched the basic dimensions and structure of an ideal toy excavator
Modeled the tracks of the excavator utilizing NX 10, including the small ridges that provide friction to real excavators
Honed my skills with drafting and three-dimensional modeling by adding minute details to the excavator tracks’ design Work Experience
