Certified Journeyman Carpenter / Independent Cabinet Maker

I started working in 1975 as a framing carpenter for Sprague Construction in St. Joseph, MO., where I attended N. S. Hillyard Technical School and studied Building Trades. In 1979, I moved to Beaumont, TX. and joined the Carpenters Local Union #753, where I attended the Sabine Area Carpenters Apprenticeship & Training class for the next 4 years. I worked on a multitude of projects as a union carpenter ranging from residential house framing, commercial building erection, to heavy industrial construction in the petro-chemical industry. In 1988, I opened a small cabinet shop and was well known for my quality of work, the ability to produce professional results, and a reputation that required little advertisement.
