Senior IT Manager, Support (POS & IT Project Manager) (2008-2015)

* Systems Support/SME: Oversee and manage POS (Micros/Oracle) and

Management Information/IT Systems for Food & Beverage and Retail

operations for Atlanta Airport branch, along with regional mall

locations. Provided internal consulting by functioning as a trainer,

mentor, and champion for the use of the Micros POS system & IT related

aspects to make business more consistent, more competitive, and

profitable. Support and respond to software and hardware malfunction

and escalate issues as needed by identifying, researching, and

providing resolution to software/hardware related issues through

branch visits and remotely via email and telephone contact. Managed

the day-to-day POS support functions of the branch (<60 combined units

/ <200 workstations). Regional support the day-to-day IT functions.

* Enterprise Implementations: Locally led enterprise rollout of new

robust retail point-of-sale (POS) systems. Locally executed a global

rollout of new software and systems, including ERP solutions, Taleo,

digital ads/menus for Retail and Food & Beverage operations within the

Atlanta Airport Branch.

Results: Completed projects ahead of schedule, as much as $1.2M under

budget and to universal acclaim. Ensured defect-free releases through

careful planning, testing and QA efforts.

* System Integrations/Migrations: Project-managed large-scale

initiatives involving the transition of programs to new platforms.
