Collaborators: Martin Fiebert, Azadeh Aliee

Collected raw data on 100 Facebook participants, fifty men & fifty women

Looked at age & gender effects in regards to Facebook status posted

Monitored individual posts for a total of 24hrs to see when highest activity of likes and comments were received

Analyzed data, resolved key statistics

Results found that on average posts received highest number of likes and comments within the first 2-4 hours (53%)

Results further indicated that the life span of a post was longer if it was posted by subjects over the age of fifty compared to subjects between ages eighteen to thirty.

Overall the life span of a Facebook post was significant for older subjects.

The population I dealt with was mostly county appointed drug addicts & alcoholics as well as self-volunteered prospects. Responsibilities include doing interviews & intakes of incoming prospects for the 90 day rehab program. Further responsibilities include drug testing clients, luggage sweeping, assessment of prospect (mental state & nature of their case), filing and extensive paper work with affiliation to the Orange County court system.

Alzheimer's Association, Irvine, CA Jan. 2013- Aug. 2013

Intern

Responsibilities included leading the breakfast club for early-onset dementia patients and their caregivers. The breakfast club was run by a colleague and me where we had professional oversight from a clinical director Barbara O'Connor. We met with the Alzheimer's patients weekly where we played mind-stimulating games to help stimulate their memory and exercise neuroplasticity. Further responsibilities included table sessions at various health clinics which provided resources for patient's caregivers' and Alzheimer's patients as well as information sessions on the nature of the disease.
