2010 – May 2016 Deputy Program Manager Manufacturing - Responsible for the Material Planning and Manufacturing functions for multiple programs. Direct reports included both Materials and Manufacturing professionals. Program budget and planning responsibilities ranged from $1M to $125M and included both material dollar and labor spend. Program durations ranged from one year to 6+ years, and customers were civilian, government, and classified entities.

Accomplishments

• Successfully managed the Material and Manufacturing functions of the NASA Space Network Ground Segment Sustainment (SGSS) program – functional areas responsible for were on schedule and on budget – material and labor spend combined at ~ $110M.

• Author of the Small Business Plan for the $667M winning SGSS program proposal.

• Led Material team on 3 winning follow on business proposals for SGSS program valued at ~ $25M, 2 winning follow on business proposals for MUOS program valued at ~ $15M, and 2 winning follow on business proposals for Rescue 21 program valued at ~ $10M.

• Saved ~ $25M in Material spending on SGSS program working in conjuction with the centralized procurement function on multiple negotiating strategies with outside vendors.

• Successfully managed team through several resource reductions with no impact to budgets or customer schedules.

2008 - 2010 Senior Materials Manager, Mobile User Objective System (MUOS)- Responsible for all Material and labor spend associated with the MUOS program. Managed a team of 5 individuals, and a Material and labor budget of ~$125M.

• Successfully developed and executed a plan that supported procurement and manufacturing of a multi-site product over a 3 year period.

• Development and production hardware shipped on time to multiple locations around the world (US, Guam, Australia, Sicily).

• Developed and managed relationships with multiple outside vendors.

Operations Manager - Responsible for the operational and financial performance of the Visor Distribution Center.

• Led a team of 10 Material, Quality and Financial professionals.

• Daily receipts of visors produced in our Mexico manufacturing facilities and outbound shipments to customers around the world. Visor receipts and shipments ~ 2M annually.

• Successfully transitioned all distribution activities to the Mexico manufacturing teams.
