My knowledge of the constant changing of mortgage lending guidelines for HUD and Fannie Mae, and most recent the very important TRID and CFPB financial changes have been a challenge but necessary to stay committed to being a viable asset in marketing myself as a benefit to your Quality Control staff.
The previous mortgage QC experience as well as “Agency and Investor” knowledge hopefully will meet the requirements of your job posting. As you can see I have been fortunate to stay in the mortgage lending industry over my career even with many industry changes during recent years.
I have been involved with not only normal QC reviews both at the Corporate and Branch levels but in additional reviews of repurchase and indemnification rebuttals to investors. And as the prior mortgage industry sadly revealed I aided in the investigations of fraudulent borrowers and loan documents as well.
During 2015 I have completed TRID Loan Estimate and Closing Disbursement training as well as processing loans using Encompass. These skills provide additional tools in auditing loan documents.
Regards,
Deborah Blackwell
