§Supported Graham Packaging Plants in training of Quality Managers, Quality Lab Technicians and implementation of QMS programs.

§Lead the plant to #1 ranking in quality out of 18 plants.

§Fully staffed Quality Department including Lead Quality Technicians, Quality Auditors and Quality Inspectors. Lead the Quality Team in daily, monthly and weekly activities.

§Increased reliability for statistical data control ensuring product meets both internal and customer specifications. Lead reduction of PPMs for Critical To Function parameters from 2250 to 238 through focused improvement teams; maintaining improvement for the past 3 years.

§New Product Qualifications including development of critical to function product specification; planning and scheduling of resources to perform testing, analyzing data and trends during and after the qualifications also supporting customers through the customer qualification process. Responsible to analyzed data to ensure tooling cut and designed to satisfy customer requirements.

§Responsible to facilitate Corporate, ISO, and Customer Audits, Conduct Internal Audits, Plant HACCP, GMP and Food Safety Coordinator, Document Control, Development of both Corporate and Plant level documents, Active role in problem solving, plant inventory counts, active member of plant safety team, created and maintained quality limit samples for minimum, maximum, acceptable and unacceptable standards to be utilized as a visual aide, managing plant QMS, active role in daily GEMBA walks and tiered audits.

§Implemented color coding background of control charts to provide a visual aide to the operator to trigger proper reaction to out of control conditions.

§Teamed with other Graham Packaging QM’s to develop best practices to drive improvements to our Business Unit.

§Conducted Gage R & R Studies to verify reliability and repeatability of quality gages and operators.

§Created spreadsheet to track training of all employees. Scheduled and conduced training for corporate and plant level procedures, HACCP, GMP requirements, Sanitation and Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Proper Documentation Practices, Cardinal Rules and how to understand control charts; creating tests to verify effectiveness of training.

§Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.

§Reached labor goals by designing and building work modules for time consuming repetitive tasks.

§Gather and research quality data to determine cost saving plans (asset life cycle, technology upgrades)

§Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality. Responsible to stop production if serious product defects are present.
