Proudly served in our Countries most elite fighting force, the Army Green Berets. I had the privilege to participate on missions of the highest regard, and awarded our Countries highest medals for Valor under enemy fire. I have applied these extraordinary life skills in the Companies I work for, by managing the Transportation Accounting Division at Lineage Logistics, and currently the Distribution Manager at Meyer Natural Foods. EXPERIENCE

2015-_Present Meyer Natural Foods, Omaha NE Distribution Manager

Logistics – Planning of all customer orders which averages around 230 orders a week/1.3 million lbs. Building trucks working with numerous carriers on a daily basis, negotiating prices, resolving issues at consignee’s and developing bids looking for better ways to cut cost and increase efficiency for transportation. We have already tripled our Contribution Margin for the year and transportation costs have been cut 12% since I have been at Meyer.

Manage all warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks, updating client information, inventory, proper staffing, interviews and scheduling changes. logistics out of Skylark Meats in Omaha. Inventory Management has seen a 15% increase in the reduction of loss goods in the last year.

Highly proficient in MS Office, developed an On Time Tracking Report, Gross Margin Report per Customer plus a Accessorial Tracking report in excel. Company currently doesn’t use a TMS so being efficient in MS Office and report generating skills brought a lot of assets to the company.

2012-2015 Lineage Logistics, Omaha NE Transportation Analyst

Analyzing/Pricing/Negotiating Customer Bids on a weekly basis for exhisting and potential customers. Lineage Logistics cleared a Net Profit of 42 Million in 2013, exceeding the Company’s goal. A huge part of the responsibility falls upon rates provided and winning Customer Contracts.

General Responsibilities- Solicit spot quotes for new customer lanes on a daily basis, with a goal of 10-12% gross margin, administrative functions in the TMS, customer/carrier setup, rate uploads, AR/AP discrepancies, financial reporting for month/quarterly/year end, monitor profitability level of all transportation activity and assist the CFO in preparing the budget.

Primary Administrator for integration of two multi-million dollar Companies TMS systems and Accounting Packages, which includes working hand in hand with MIS, System Testing, Updates, Conversions and Training the Users.

2012 Werner Enterprises, Omaha NE JIT Coordinator

Overall accountability and day to day load planning for Just in Time Freight to include TL, LTL, Rail and Intermodal for the West Region. Averaging 15% gross margin, which is a 3% markup from my predecessor. Daily communication with Customers to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsible to provide 100% on time delivery for High Value Freight. This was maintained by constant awareness of my freight, resolving dispatch or delivery issues with warehouses or consignee’s, redirecting freight when we have a breakdown, be a custom to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsible for assigning other carriers (TL, LTL, Rail) to transport loads of product that we couldn’t manage, determined the type of equipment necessary for transportation and negotiate cost with the carriers.
