Led a massive reorganization. A global oilfield services client had multiple business lines that operated independently. Developed and installed a more efficient cost model for a new regional structure. Cut finance costs by 25% through outsourcing, restructuring, system optimization and process improvements. Implemented six regional accounting centers enabling $10-$12M in annualized savings. Integrated a major acquisition.

Centralized a global hospitality organization. Retained by a $13B global hospitality company with 3,900 properties, 675,000 rooms in 71 countries. Centralized a decentralized model where each property had its own people, process, and technology. Reengineered processes. Streamlined and automated at every opportunity, laying the foundation for future growth. Created a platform to integrate new properties with shared services.

Cut costs, built an infrastructure to support growth. A global health care company’s growth was hindered by an inadequate infrastructure arising from previous high growth and limited standardization. Identified and seized cost-reduction opportunities. Executed end-to-end process design using Lean Six Sigma. Devised implementation roadmaps. In process of achieving a recurring 30% reduction of total costs ($300M off $1B annual spend).

Built a lean, efficient finance organization. A $40B global media conglomerate’s finance organization was not efficient and cost was on the 4th quartile of benchmarks. At the behest of a new Finance Controllership organization, redesigned the finance process model. Reached savings goal of $20M in FY14.

Centralized processing. Planned and managed finance function transformation for a multi-branch financial services organization. Transitioned many processes from the branches to captive centers in Headquarters. Transformed and industrialized current HQ center following leading Shared Services practices.

Created international shared services organization. Delivered full F&A shared services under PTP, RTR, and OTC for six countries with responsibilities starting from due diligence phase (DD Lead).
