October 2008 – October 2016 Area Director of Finance for hotels located on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Responsible for financial operations of 295 room InterContinental Conference Center, 162 room InterContinental Suite Hotel and 272 room Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic. Includes ten food & beverage outlets, one gift shop and banquet operations.

Annual budget and monthly forecasting of hotels generating $45m in annual sales on a consolidated basis

Monthly reporting to InterContinental Hotels Group and two hotel owning companies.

May 2001 – September 2008 Financial Controller for Hyatt Regency hotel located in downtown Cleveland.

Successful opening of 293 room Hyatt Regency at the Arcade. Includes four food & beverage outlets and banquet operations generating $12m in annual sales.

Responsible for opening budget, transition to fully integrated Hyatt Regency hotel and daily financial operations. Monthly reporting and annual forecasting to Hyatt Corporation and outside owning company.

April 1998 – March 1999 Assistant Financial Controller of the Hyatt Regency connected to the Chicago McCormick Place Convention Center.

Opening Assistant Financial Controller of 800 room hotel. Includes three food & beverage outlets and banquet operations generating $40m in annual sales. Responsible for the daily financial operation, performing month end closing, assisting in financial reporting and transition to fully integrated Hyatt Regency hotel.

March 1994 – March 1998 Assistant Financial Controller of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Cincinnati Ohio.

Promoted to Assistant Financial Controller responsible for daily financial operation, month end closing and assisting in financial reporting of 434 room hotel with $20m in annual sales.

Credit Manager with average receivables of $2m. Achieved recognition for lowest percentage of receivables greater than 60 days.

November 1991 – February 1994 Purchasing Director of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Albuquerque New Mexico

Responsible for all food, beverage and non-food purchases for all hotel divisions. Maintained food inventory of $46k and $25k in beverage.
