The CA Unicenter Service Desk application suite provides the core services that makes up the ITIL best practice implementation at the TTC.

The task was to upgrade the components of Computer Associates Unicenter System (Maintain Service Desk / Service Request Management: Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Release tickets) from version 6.0 to version R11, and to implement an enhanced configuration management process for managing networked systems and services storing the data about Information Technology Services assets and configuration items.

Meter Reading and Count Application is used to store turnstile passimeter, token, magnetic metropass and Fare Card meter readings (regular and concession); calculate the daily meter counts for token and passimeter metres and monthly meter counts for magnetic metropass, Fare Card (regular and concession), token and passimeter passengers passing through the metered turnstiles and produce reports concerning these readings and passenger counts. The application is an intranet web application with multi-user accessibility based on thin client browser-server technology.

The eTM Time Management web based application determines and calculates a person’s Lieu Time, Overtime and Regular hours worked.

Title: QA Test Analyst

Analyze and understand new and existing software components & requirements and build testing strategies to provide Verification and Validation for various software applications releases (.NET) including fixes, enhancements and new functionality.
