Engineering Technician (Engineering Tech)

As an engineering Technician at Intel, my main job duty was to perform complex testing on next generation PCUs and Chipsets. These tests were executed on large systems and handlers, gathering data for customers to improve performance and reliability for future design. Documentation, implementation of new software and test procedures were a large part of quality control for new component designs. I also worked on CNC and Multi Prep Polishing machines, preparing units for scope work. Another job I performed was Burn-In: stressing units, using tightly controlled heat, time and specified conditions to find their limits. I have also worked in Inventory Control for high security units, which included foreign and domestic shipping laws and procedures. As a senior engineering tech, I was on a rotating lead role with my grade level peers. This role included assigning weekly job stations and securing on time delivery to internal and external customers, as well as overseeing maintenance repair compliance and quality results.

Refurbish Technician Lead

03/2004 - 04/2006 TASQ Technology 8875 Washington Blvd # A, Roseville, CA

I was the lead tech on a 12-person line. I provided lists to inventory for the line employees and delivered them to each tech as needed. Our line refurbished various POS machines, using schematics, soldering tools and hand tools. We replaced and repaired components on boards, reprogrammed software, as well as, installing and upgrading firmware. We also replaced covers and relabeled machines for redistribution. Each year, we performed a site wide warehouse inventory.
