Travel for the management of IST involvement in all new construction and
remodeled spaces at major Chattanooga hospital and upgraded software at new
hospital in Lexington KY area. This included the management of the Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the Computrition, OBTV and MUSE
implementations at St. Josephs Mount Sterling hospital. The Chattanooga
project involved reworking the budget to rectify a $330,000.00 shortfall
with vendors and local staff to assure proper project financial basis.

frequent interaction with users, multiple project teams, outside vendors
and suppliers able to develop resource planning and implementation
schedules. Used waterfall methodology extensively to keep on schedule. The
IST portion was $58M of a $150M project; I oversaw pay requests and managed
this project in total. As part of new billing changes worked with staff to
upgrade codes and eliminate outdated materials to be able to migrate to
Resolute. Did follow-up with all the users to ensure that they were
satisfied with what they had. Worked to make sure that all departments were
made aware of new equipment that might make their job easier. Prior to
Epic, Managed ICD -9 implementation, installed Meditech in nineteen clinics
and maintained users in the hospital.
