The Title of the project was "Drug Utilization Evaluation of antibiotics and knowledge assessment of parents in Pediatrics Department of Princess Esra Hospital (Owaisi Group of Hospitals)".
The study was conducted on 223 patients.
Inappropriate empirical and inappropriate definitive antibiotic prescription was more frequent than appropriate empirical and appropriate definitive prescription
Learning
I learnt the pattern of drug utilization of antibiotics in Pediatrics department.
I assessed the knowledge of patients' parents regarding antibiotics use.
I learnt how to design and present the thesis work, also learnt the mannerism and the behavior of working environment.
