My role included providing timely and accurate analysis during live football matches, as well as reviewing recorded games. This job gave me an insight into freelance and self-employment, completing personal timesheets and invoices, along with the importance of time keeping. During my time at the Golf club, I worked behind the bar. This included a variation of shifts to meet demand along with keeping the bar operational as well as keeping a friendly atmosphere continuously. This job enabled me to enhance my personal skills, being able to communicate with all I meet. I was also later trusted with the added responsibility of security in locking up at the end of the evening as well as stock taking.


A role of party assistant for children’s parties at my local leisure centre I had the responsibility of a number of children aged from 4-10. Supervision, time keeping and maturity are just some of the key aspects of the job which saw me make sure the party ran smoothly and on time, from setting up tables and chairs to ordering food whilst in constant communication with parents.

I worked at Next within the HomeWare department, part time on Saturday’s for 4 hours per week. My duties included welcoming and servicing customers, including taking payments for purchased goods, customer advice, gaining product knowledge, and general store maintenance. My main objective was to offer customer satisfaction through all of my interactions.

Customer Finance Department Work Experience

Through my work experience placement, I worked at TalkTalk Telecoms in London. I sat with all of the teams within the Customer Payment Support department. I learnt a lot about how the department operated and fitted in to the organisation as a whole. I helped conduct junior activities such as setting up direct debit details on customer accounts, and processing customer queries on to the customer databases. Furthermore, this work experience gave me an insight into life within an office, which I believe to be extremely valuable.
