SUMMARY

After years of setting up /running production on both CNC and conventional machines, (dozens of different machines), using carbide and ceramic inserts, on dozens of materials, I’ve gained a good understanding of; holding close tolerances; Depth of Cut; feeds and speeds; and, fixture and tool offsets. This, and, skills in tooling, a functional knowledge of machine tools and measuring tools, will assure the correct tools are chosen for each operation. Add this to, being well versed in G&M codes & Quality Assurance and, constantly monitoring /adjusting offsets, conformance standards will be met.
