Reported to the Chief Operating Officer. Landmark Dividend LLC is the national leader in ground lease transactions. My job consisted of project manage the entire life cycle of a transaction from execution of option to post-closing as the lead coordinator, maintaining full ownership and responsibility for closing, including due diligence, resolving issues, preparing closing documents, disbursement of funds, and recording of legal documents. My responsibilities included the following: Review seller application and initial correspondence received from the Sales team and confirm all information is complete and accurate; develop closing strategy and preliminary timeline; become lead contact for the transaction, coordinating directly with Sales, Legal, Underwriting, third party vendors, and others, including updating and inputting data into the Company’s system; maintain communications with all parties to provide timely updates, managing seller’s expectations as necessary; ensure due diligence documents were ordered and timely received (title, survey, corporate, liens, etc.); review results of due diligence and develop issues list (i.e. closing conditions); resolve issues in coordination with seller, third party vendors, Sales Team and Legal Department; track and maintain deal status in the Company’s operating system and provide status updates at weekly department meetings and otherwise, as necessary; prepare all closing documents; obtain execution of closing documents from seller; close transactions and coordinate with Accounting Department for disbursement of funds; coordinate recordation of legal documents with title vendor and ensure clean and clear title, subject only to disclosed and approved exceptions, is conveyed to Landmark; perform quality check on all executed documents and deliver to property management/servicing team; perform other duties related to the ongoing operation of the organization as necessary.
