Contingency Test and Capacitor Compensation for 30-Bus Power System

DSP402 project: Fully created a program to follow through DSP402 drive profile in ATV61/71 including its safety features. Integrated with an HMI and used Modbus RTU as well as CANopen protocols for communication.

Winder Machine Project: Fully created a PLC as well as HMI program to allow a smooth winding of a rolling paper through a Lexium 32 drive (for the master axis) and an ATV12 drive (for the slave axis).

Blinko Machine Project: This involves a full conversion of the blinko machine (a gaming machine that allows racing between balls of different colors)

Machine Safety Demo: Fully developed and designed a machine safety demo for customers training. This includes use of several safety devices such as safety relays, safety controller, contactors, limits switches, e-stop bottom, stack light, non-contact switches, Light curtains, etc. This training demo will help customers to understand the wiring difference of safety system in order to meet desire safety category or performance level and so to comply with Osha regulations.

Pump Demo: Fully rewired the electrical panel to control the pumping machine, which is built in 2 motors and several pressures’ sensors. The electrical panel includes 4 drives (2 of ATV61 and 2 of ATV21). 2 drives are allocated to each motor. PLC and HMI program were designed to allow the user to select from the HMI the specific drive to use for each motor.

DSP project: Fully designed an HMI program for an ATS 22 drive and to use register access and Modbus RTU communication to access all menu and to fully configure the drive from the HMI. The user will no longer deal with symbol but with full words.
