This involved significant on site activity as well as hiring responsibility for financial staff up to and including the Asia Pacific Gas Controller.

Responsible for the Operational and Financial activities and reporting for the Sensus North America Gas Division. $65 million division with 205 hourly and 30 salaried employees.

OPERATIONS CONTROLLER, CONSERVATION SOLUTIONS

Responsible for the financial activities for the Operations of the Conservation Solutions Division (approx. 400 million); which includes the manufacturing facilities in Dubois, PA, Boise, ID and Beijing, China and dotted line reporting from Controller in London, UK, while maintaining responsibilities in the Global Gas role.

GLOBAL GAS CONTROLLER

Responsible for all financial activities, including reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Global Gas Division of Sensus (approx. $75 million).

GENERAL MANAGER FINANCE, GLOBAL PROCUREMENT

Responsible for financial planning and global procurement, forecasting and global purchase price variance reporting.

Implemented 25% raw material cost reduction plan. This plan was centered on monthly/quarterly/annual tracking and follow-up meetings to drive change and price reduction initiatives with all suppliers.

In conjunction with the Senior VP of Global Purchasing participated on a ground breaking team to implement e-procurement. This was carried out working directly with FreeMarkets (now known as Ariba).

Developed a database of raw material SKUs used at all Heinz Global companies which included coordination with all the respective purchasing groups.

GENERAL MANAGER SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Responsible for production planning and distribution for Heinz USA, overseeing 50 million cases of annual food production.

Led team implementation of upgraded MRP system. This project involved the development of and then coordination of an enterprise wide team of experts in their respective fields. The team developed from Sales forecast thru deployment of production revised and improved processes for Supply Chain Management. The result of this project over 3 years was an overall inventory turn improvement of 57% while maintaining over 98% customer service.

In the absence of an IT General Manager, led a team in assisting with MRP upgrade which enhanced the Supply Chain Process.

SENIOR MANAGER FINANCIAL PLANNING AND CONTROL

Responsible for Operations finance for Heinz USA.. This was inclusive of 5 factories, 3 Agriculture districts, 8 Distribution Centers, and Purchasing.

Implemented an 18 month rolling forecast process for Operational spending. This resulted in 99% forecast accuracy within a 6 month operating window.

Led team implementation of an activity based cost system to be utilized for all Heinz USA factories. This resulted in significant changes in cost allocation and therefore profit reporting.

CONTROLLER

Controlled financial operations for the Fremont, OH factory and Ohio Agriculture District through annual budgets, monthly forecasting and financial reporting and daily operational reporting.

Responsible for Information Systems, factory ingredient and packaging supplies.

Implemented 99% inventory accuracy and 98% forecast accuracy processes.
