Photographer
Creative / Experienced / Driven
As my resume demonstrates, my background in photography and digital
creativity is extensive and varied. I transitioned from film to digital
early and therefore have many years of experience in digital image
manipulation and photo retouching, which has remained a core element to my
creation process. I understand the importance of a workflow that is
logical and organized and realize that deadlines are priority.
I have been both the photographer and support staff and therefore know what
transpires on both sides of the camera, which is vital experience for this
particular job role as Photographer. I have experience shooting sporting
events, both on the college level as well as pro. When at UC, I was the
official campus photographer where I covered all the sports for their
publications, posters, and media guides including team shots, head shots,
action, award programs, and special charity outings. I traveled with the
football team and covered all the home basketball games (w/ strobes). On
the pro side, I have photographed the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals,
and the Seatle Seahawks.
I work very well in a team situation and/or independently and fully
understand the importance of clear communication between departments and
teams.
