• Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) project: completed fieldwork in the arboretum to assess the health of ash trees and analyze the effects of EAB.

• Gully Erosion project: measured cross sections of a gully and compared them to data from previous years to calculate the change in the gully over time.

• Floodsafe Appalachia project: compared past floods in WV to the June, 2016 flood and prepared educational resources for middle schools and the public.
