OBJECTIVE

Seeking regular full-time employment as an Assistant Project Manager utilizing my project management and supervisory experience in construction.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Former Alaska resident with over 15 years experience as a Field Superintendent and Carpentry Supervisor, over 15 years of experience as Lead Carpenter, and have traveled and worked throughout the State of Alaska since 1982.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Project management duties including: daily labor reports, progress reports with photos, managing construction budgets, and maintaining organization and control of project field offices.

Responsible for project material take-offs utilizing blueprints of residential and commercial buildings, initiation and follow-up of material transportation to remote locations.

Effectively acted as liaison between project engineers and Tribal governments solving logistics, design, and material challenges.

Safety Administrator for all field projects incorporating EPA and OSHA regulations into jobsite safety procedures.

Extensive knowledge of residential housing construction from foundation to finish.

Experience building and maintaining local roads and water/wastewater systems.

Operate and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, excavators, loaders, cranes and forklifts.

Supervising and teaching local Native workforce in all forms of constructing infrastructure throughout rural Alaska.

Repaired 60+ year old dam supplying water to the city and supervised construction of storage warehouse.

Multi-Purpose community facility project in Tuluksak.

Harris Sub-Regional Clinic (medical and dental) in Chignik Bay.

Bulk fuel storage facilities and power plants in Hoonah, Nunam Iqua and Chefornak.

Supported other various construction projects throughout Alaska bush communities including Akiachak, Brevig Mission, Chefornak, Nunam Iqua, Sleetmute, and Tanana.

Foreman

Supervised crew up to 20 people replacing the boardwalk system in Chefornak.
