Oversaw opening of new production facility. Worked with local authorities to bring new facility up to code. Worked with local contractors to prep building for new machines.

Maintenance Supervisor - July 2011 through February 2014
Performed all aspects of machine repair including Marco blast booths, Marco Gas powered paint booths, electric, air, and gas powered paint equipment, forklift and vehicles, and production machines including lathes, Landis threaders, saws, and water jets.
Pressure tested specialty pipe.
Aided in constructing new facilities to increase size of the company. Traveled to multiple US Pipe, Fabrication branches to repair machinery and/or set up new equipment.
General repairs on facilities such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
Trained in the production shop threading pipe, facing flanges, two holing flanges, sawing pipe, and single point threading on lathes.

Maintenance Machinist
Machined new tooling for machines to close tolerances using a conventional mill, conventional lathe, surface grinder, band saw, drop saw, MIG welder, and an arch welder. Most of the tooling on these machines did not come with blueprints, so they had to be copied from broken pieces.
Fabricated new parts with improved designs.
Preformed change over on hydraulic presses. Removed dies from press and installed next die needed. Operated press to verify correct movement of die. Checked first part for conformity. Made adjustments on dies and/or press when needed.
Responsible for all aspects of troubleshooting. Repaired a wide range of machines, such as wire and tube benders, presses, and resistance welders. Repair of machines included replacing and/or repairing air and hydraulic cylinders, weak or broken bearings, proximity sensors that had malfunctioned, rebuilding gearboxes, welding broken frames and braces, and solving minor electrical problems.
Maintenance on faculties, such as plumbing and carpentry, while also maintaining the air compressors and air lines throughout the building (including replacing, adding, and moving old lines).
Atlanta Grotnes Machine Co. January 2005 – May 2006
Machinist
Programmed and operated CNC milling machine to close tolerances. Used Dekker and Johnford CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls. Used the vise in the mills when possible, but can remove and set up blocks when needed.
Operated manual mills and lathes to close tolerances. Used both conventional Bridgeport style mills and manual Supermill boring mills. Used many different size manual lathes.
Operated Blanchard grinder.
Filled in on the assembly floor, as needed, in the machine shop.

CNC Wire and Tube Bender Operator
Duties included programming and operating CNC wire and tube benders for production. Managed troubleshooting, and programming machines for other employees.
