WORK EXPERIENCE:
In Pwr Inc.
12/2015-
I am currently General foreman for this large Electrical Contractor based out of Indiana. I went in to this comapany as a temp and within one month I made General Foreman. Im running a job in North Carolina, a large Fed Ex shipping center. I'm running a crew of 20 guys which is one of my strongest talents. I'm a very strong leader that will not except nothing but the best from his employee's. Budgeting my job, handling material, time sheets, job take off, scheduling, public relations with customer and other contractors is also a very strong talent as well. I love installing a job from the ground up or taking a building and total restoring it into a whole new place of business. I am experienced with all suits of electrical installs. Industrial and Commercial are my strongest by far. From underground to motors controls, I love it all. I am the guy that loves to hit the ground running and making sure we get the job done. The only reason I am looking to further my career as electrical superintendent and run several jobs. I except nothing but perfection.
Global Efficient Energy
6/2015-12/2015
I was selected to be the Electrical Superintendent for this company. I led the way for installations and maintenance for the our specialized solor energy systems. Running a crew of thirty guys to assure perfection of our product. Scheduling, customer service, engineer interaction, material orders, vendor relations, time sheets and payroll, safety coordinator, and every position I was asked to fill, was done without hesitation. My gift is to give my employees drive and confidence in themselves, made me the right choice for this position. The secret is to treat your employees with respect and let them know they are beneficial to our success. My ability to see the finished product in my head made me the perfect choice. To be able to break the jobs down and hit our goals at the end of ever single day. My management skills combined with my industrial electrical experience makes me confident in all the jobs that tackle. Unfortunately, the Shreveport office was close because the lack of experience of our sales team. Honestly, I would have liked to have had a shot at that as well. Never give up Libbey Glass
10/2014-6/2015
During my short time at Libbey Glass, I have been awarded with electrical supervisor over special projects, heading the way over there new production line. Working hand and hand with Libbey engineers on all of the electrical design and installation. From the heart and sole of the operation, the state of the art control room, to last last prox switch in the field. This control room housed our plc's, which I worked long hours to help program and make sure that all of the loops sheets were precise. Going though each and ever input and output, so no questions would arrise during production. With all our new rs logix programs allowing the drives to feed our servo motors in the field. Designing all the field switches that will be necessary to supply our inputs to our plc's to drive our outputs, such as our servo motors, and our air/ hydraulic pumps. I'm highly experienced with the workings and maintaining conveyor systems " chain and belt driven", from the mechanical and the electrical workings. Conveyors driven by induction and servo motors. I understand the tracking of the belts and repairing the belt lacing. I believe that lubrication is the key to a successful long life of any piece of equipment. I engineered and oversaw the installation of several lubrication systems. Libbey is a great company but I need a company that I can count on to secure my future. Six sigma was created for me. Im the guy that always looks to the future to improve production and eliminate problems through a vigorous preventive maintenace program. There was a huge lay off at Libbey Glass and unfortunatley it affected my employment status. Last hired first to go. ZACHRY:
10/2011-10/2014
For Zachry, I was Foreman in charge of electrical maintenance and installation for the power house of International Paper in Mansfield, La. I am trained for voltages up to 13800, down to control voltages 24 volt dc. Using my laptop I would noavigate our system to assure that inputs were functioning correctly. Im well versed in navigating plc's as long as I have loop sheets that identifies I/O addresses and rung numbers. Well it's not a perfect world and you dont't always have that convienence, so I have the knack to figure it out without such loop sheets as well. Once I spend more time with different systems, I have found I can always seem to figure a good navigation process. Im not only and electrician, but a multicraft electrician. Well experienced in welding, pipefitting, hydraulics, pneaumatics, mechanics, and robotics. I lead a crew of 30 people outage preparation, as well as safety officer. I handled daily material orders, progress reports, time sheets, take off on new jobs, budgeting, and scheduling. Creating and initializing 5s an six sigma programs. Unfortunately the contract ended, and I had to take a lay off.
WEYERHAUSER:
03/2011-10/2011
Yes this was a short tour. The only reason being is that I was offered the job in Mansfield for Zachry and a better opportunity. During the tour here I was a multicaft electrician that became electrical supervisor in just weeks, was also in charge of pm scheduling. I became mentor for new employees, and safety team leader as well. I was in charge of all troubleshooting and industrial installs. I made sure that management was always made aware of any issues that would cost us any down time and schedule outages to make repairs. My attention for detail placed me in the positon for running our preventive maintenance program. To be able to see and solve issues before they affected production, and eliminate down time.
WYE ELECTRIC:
03/2002-02/2011
My time with Wye consisted mostly of outage preparation in different plants throughout the southern United States. Preparing for all new electrical applications as well as maintenance. I served as foreman for this company as well as working my tools. I was a large part of construction in several industries such as International Paper, Georgia Pacific, Libbey Glass, and Koch Power. Commercial projects include Wal Mart, Target, Best Buy. This list goes on and on.
ELDECO:
10/1999-03/2002
I spent most of my time with this company at Phillip Morris U.S.A in Charlotte N.C. I completely installed a whole new production line. I made general forman for this company after 3 weeks. My industrial skills were really put to the test during this job. I do believe this is where my strong work ethic and my strive for perfection came into its on. This install also included a complete rebuild of there plc cabinets. Miles of raceway installation that had to be perfect down the each and every coupling allined on every rack. This also tought me how to utilize the strengths and weaknesses of my men to make sure I always complete my jobs on schedule.
