Job Purpose
The Executive Assistant is responsible for modeling the appropriate image for the company, creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, parents, and visitors, and providing administrative assistance and general office support to the Principal.

Executive Assistant at the Convention & Visitors Bureau – Began as records coordinator for the Group Sales department. I then moved into the position of Secretary for the VP of sales and Director of Sales. Included in that position was that I was also responsible for the Sales Managers and administrator of their sales software programs. I inputted sales leads, and then tracked the responses to the leads as well as producing daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed. Including overview of the Groups marketing material and annual marketing plans. The position also included receptionist capability, mail room procedures and all general office knowledge. Heavy use of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and software created especially for our lead tracking and client database.
The Palm Beach County Convention Center opened under the management of the Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau. I then began working for the General Manger in charge of the management for two years. In addition to working closely with the GM with meetings, calendars, monthly newsletter and assisting with tours and events. Also I arranged meetings and travel and was in charge of the Convention Centers reporting of leads and bookings in the Center.
November 1990 to October 1995 – Macy’s (formerly Burdines) – Palm Beach Mall, Boca Town Center and the Wellington Mall
I started in the sales department for cosmetics. Heavy customer service and sales. I then moved on to become the assistant to the Manager of the Wellington Green Mall. We oversaw the building of the new store and all hiring for the entire store. I worked closely with all department managers in their management of their departments. Also I set up all corporate meetings with management and vendors as needed.
