After studying detailed project requirements, I successfully designed the components of an aircraft wing structure in Solidworks.

Successfully designed a T-section 8-ply quasi isotropic composite stiffened panel in ANSYS.

Relied on advanced analytical skills to carry out the design by applying different boundary conditions in NX NASTRAN.

Satellite Docking System (Using Magneto Rheological Fluid) Aug 2014 – Dec 2015

As a member of a 2-person team I helped design a docking system using CATIA and provided a printed 3D model.

Conducted tests utilizing MR fluid and analyzed the results. The findings were incredible promising as we concluded the application of MR fluid the effort required to dock the satellite system can be reduced.

Aircraft Stiffened Panel Apr 2013 – May 2013

Aircraft T and I section stiffened panel were designed in CATIA V5

We analyzed the effects of changing materials on both sections.

Preformed rigorous harmonic, static and modal analysis on the stiffened panel in ANSYS Mechanical APDL. Compared the results and draw conclusions as to the stronger option.

Case Study

Cessna 172 (Intern in Aviation Academy) May 2012 – Jul 2012

The Cessna 172 Sky Hawk is a four seat, single engine both high and fixed wing aircraft.

Compared two aircrafts Cessna 172 and Cessna 152. After intensive review we concluded that the Cessna 172 was a superior model as it displayed improved high advantage gear. In addition, we concluded 172 also had a high wing structure that helps in stability and accessibility.
