“Catalytic ignition temperature of propane-oxygen-nitrogen mixture over platinum coil:

Miss Paudel performed laboratory experiments to calculate the temperature coefficient of platinum coil by using Four Wire Source Meter and High Temperature Electric Furnace. During the lab set up, the source meter was connected to the computer and insulated platinum coil holder; the coil holder was placed inside high temperature electric furnace in the combustion lab. Lab View software was used to calculate resistance and Alpha (temperature coefficient) of the platinum coil at low to very high temperature. The final report incorporated the graphical analysis of Alpha at varying temperatures, and comparison of experimental and ideal values.
