Electrical Designer/Checker. Responsible for design and development of electrical drawings for construction packages, material take-off and bill of material preparation, and checking of electrical drawings prior to issue. Areas of design included plans and details for plant power distribution, (13.8kV and above, 600V, and instrument 24 VDC), via underground duct bank, above ground cable tray, conduit, and pole-line systems. Plant areas were comprised of sub-station, process, motor control, and storage areas. In addition drawings for control system wiring, grounding, lighting, and electrical manholes were prepared. Projects required on-site surveys for gathering of information in order to facilitate electrical design in retrofit areas for the following projects:

- PIA Expansion Project, Amoco Chemical Company, Joliet, Illinois

- Atlas Upgrade Project, Atlas Processing Company, Shreveport, Louisiana

- ETO Expansion Project, Vista Chemicals, Lake Charles, Louisiana

- Chocolate Bayou Plant Expansion, Monsanto Chemicals, Chocolate Bayou, Texas
