2010-2011 in Aurora postgraduate college, chikkadapally Hyderabad as a assistant professor for 1 year.

Research interest

Conducting polymers, conducting polyurethanes, Polyurethane coatings, conducting oligoanilines, carbon materials like carbon nanotubes, Graphene, g-C3N4, polymeric materials, batteries and Supercapacitance, solar cells, sensors and multifunctional materials. Expertise in analytical techniques

1. Experience in handling and interpretation of spectroscopic data’s such as FT-IR, UV-Vis. Electrochemical technics like cyclicvoltametry, capacitor assembles charge-discharge tests, electrochemical impedance and Tafel polarization experiments for anticorrosion test. Four Point (probe) Resistivity/Conductivity Measurements. Dynamic light scattering technique

(DLS) experiments, Salt spray tests and analysis.

2. Expertise in interpreting results from ESI-MS, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. 3. Analysis on thermo gravimetric Analyses (TGA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry

(DSC), Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analyser (DMTA), Universal Testing Machine

(Instron AGS-10k NG Shimadzu, Japan).

4. Surface analyses such as Scanning electron microscope (SEM: Hitachi S520; Japan), Field emission Scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to measure the elemental composition that exist within a material. 5. Good knowledge in literature survey (Chemical Abstract, Journals, and online search sing Reaxys and SciFinder). Chem. Draw Ultra 9, Mestra Nova, Excel and Origin pro 8.0. Research experience

Synthesis of conducting polymers (chemically and electrochemically), conducting Polyurethanes and coatings & Hybrid Materials.

Synthesis of various types of conducting oligoanilines.

Preparation of functional coating materials such as anti-corrosive conducting polyurethanes.

Synthesis of different types of electroactive polymeric materials eg: poly urea and poly amide.

Characterization of materials synthesised for structure-property relationship and exploitation of these materials.
