At Holloman, I was required to pass a destructive pipe welding test. Phase one of the test was to make a butt Weld. The second was to fabricate a T from 12” pipe and Weld it out in position. Some work for Holloman was pipeline in which our crew of welders would Weld out pipe all day using our rig trucks. Other jobs were pipe fabrication where I was required to pull accurate field measurements in order to determine what length to cut pipe. I also drafted isometric drawings based on my measurements and built the piece accordingly. Each Welder was only allowed 3 repairs before loss of certification papers. All welds were x-rayed to either 1104 code or B31.3.

For J&M I hand crafted pull behind commercial smokers in addition to cutting all of the materials. Tasks included lifting sheet metal, operating skid steer, metal shearer, and roller, as well as fit and weld materials per specifications.

For Pinnacle, I was on a weld out crew. Frac tanks, vacuum ranks, and dump trailers completely tacked together were brought into my work area and my crew was responsible for welding out (mig) the piece in a timely manner.
